Eighth of May

Client German-Russian Museum Berlin-Karlshorst
Role Art Direction, Print Conception
Date
April 2013 until the present

Since 2013, the Deutsch-Russische Museum Berlin-Karlshorst has been one of my clients. Over the years, numerous print media concepts have been developed. In addition to invitations and programs for various events, I repeatedly designed posters and promotional material for the annual museum festival. As the historical site of the unconditional surrender in 1945, the museum regularly commemorates the eighth of May in memory of this event.
The aim of the design is to create an appropriate, modern and theme-related visuality that emphasizes the festive character of the event as well as the historical context. Drafts and realized designs are shown here.
